These roads are currently affected by the rain last night:

Mclennon’s Bore Road - Closed from Kidman Way to Cadell Road
Old Morundah Road - Closed - Open to Local Traffic Only
Cattanach Road - Water over road - traffic hazard
Four Corners Road - Water on road near Bull Road and Four Corners Road intersection - traffic hazardClosure to Showground Road off Newell Highway (northern side of Jerilderie) - from Bolton Street/Wilson Road, Jerilderie

As part of Transport for NSW's maintenance work on the Newell Highway, there will be no access to Showground Road from the Newell Highway from Tuesday 7 May until approximately the end of June. Local access is available off Bolton Street/Wilson Road.

The work on the Newell Highway will continue until late June, weather permitting.

The work involves rebuilding the road surface on an 800-metre section of the Newell Highway north of Jerilderie.

Work includes:
• establishing a temporary work site
• drainage improvements
• using heavy machinery to lay a new road surface
• installing safety barriers and line marking

There will be a reduced speed limit of 40 km/hour, single lane closures and traffic controllers and signage.
