Interment rights - consumer information

Cemeteries in the Murrumbidgee Council area
Council manages three cemeteries within the Murrumbidgee Council area.
Coleambally
Coleambally Lawn Cemetery is located in Pine Drive, Coleambally and is available for burial and interment of ashes.
Darlington Point
Darlington Point Lawn Cemetery is located in Carrington Street, Darlington Point and is available for burials. The old section of the Darlington Point Cemetery is an historical cemetery with restricted usage.
Jerilderie
The Jerilderie Cemetery, located on Conargo Road, is divided into two sections.
The General Cemetery is the original part of the cemetery and is home to the Presbyterian, Anglican and Catholic denominations. Reservations for allotments can be made through Council.
The Jerilderie Lawn Cemetery is a newer area of the cemetery and includes a columbarium. Reservations are not available in the lawn cemetery.
A rose garden is now also available for the interment of ashes.
