Educator - Full time

Jerilderie Early Learning Centre

Are you an experienced educator looking for a fresh challenge, ready to take on a key role at our Preschool and Long Day Care Centre?


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in providing high-quality early learning and care services to up to 43 children, ranging from 6 weeks to school age.


In this pivotal role, you will develop tailored educational programs to meet the diverse needs of children in our care, all while ensuring compliance with legislative standards.


Your leadership will inspire and promote collaboration among our educators and families, nurturing a positive learning culture and delivering exceptional education and care services.


We are looking for someone with diploma-level qualifications who can excel in an off-the-floor position, allowing them to focus on the day-to-day management and financial administration of the centre.

Mechanic

We have an exciting career opportunity for an energetic and capable mechanic. The mechanic will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Council’s vehicles, heavy plant, and other equipment to minimise downtime and enable the optimal use of plant and equipment.

The servicing, maintaining and repairing Council vehicles and heavy plant may occur in Council Depots and/or in the field subject to operational requirements.

The position can be based at either Coleambally, Darlington Point or Jerilderie Depot.

  • Trade certificate in the appropriate mechanical field
  • MR Class driver's licence
  • WHS Construction Induction White Card
  • Forklift Licence

Casual Cleaner

We have an opportunity for a high-performing and suitably skilled cleaner to clean Council-owned facilities to ensure compliance with work, health and safety regulations and council standards. As the main role will entail cleaning Jerilderie Early Learning Centre, a Working with Children’s Check will be essential.

The position is based in Jerilderie.

  • Salary ranging from $33.17 to $43.30 hourly rate (subject to qualifications, skills and experience) part-time pro-rata
