Water, sewerage and stormwater connections
Connecting your property to Murrumbidgee Council’s water, sewerage or stormwater services is an important step in ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply and wastewater management system. To help you through the process, we have outlined the steps below:
Step 1: Complete the application form
To start the process of connecting your property to water and sewerage services, you will need to complete the Application for Water, Sewerage or Stormwater Connection Form]. This form gathers essential information about your property and your connection requirements.
Step 2: Provide the required documentation
Along with your completed form, if applying for connection to the sewer network, you will need to provide the site plan.
Step 3: Pay the required fees
There are 2 components to your fees:
- A Section 68 application fee
- A fee associated with the type/s of service you are connecting to. This fee varies depending on the specifics of your property and the required connection work.
The form specifies the fees you will be required to pay.
Once your form, documentation, and payment have been received and processed, our team will review your application and proceed with the connection. You will receive a confirmation once your request has been approved and scheduled.
Step 4: Installation and connection
We will arrange for the installation and connection of water and sewerage services to your property. You will be notified of the installation schedule and our team will work with you to ensure the process runs smoothly.
