Our vision
Smart growth. Empowered communities. Creating opportunities.
This vision is built upon the community's values of people and place, which we use to create new opportunities for a sustainable future. To achieve this vision, we have identified 5 key themes or pillars. These are:
- Our identity - people and place
- Our natural environment - sustainable living
- Our built environment - liveable place
- Our economy - creating our own opportunities
- Leading by example
We worked with the community to determine the best way to achieve our goals within each pillar. This input was used to create the Community Strategic Plan, which is our key strategic document that outlines our collective aspirations for the area in the next decade.
Our engagement activities and results can be found in the following report: Community Engagement Report - April 2022
The plan was developed following extensive community engagement and provides a roadmap for achieving our vision for the Murrumbidgee Council area.
Our corporate values
Creativity | Teamwork | Innovation
We strive to deliver quality services and well-maintained facilities.
